Fire extinguisher

That was on 12th July ’09, all our family members went to the town where my brother stays, to attend First solid food ceremony of my youngest niece, she is 6months old. Since my brother has newly got moved to the place for the job purpose, he hasn’t been acquainted many friends over there. He just invited very limited number of guests for the ceremony. Those limited guests including his parents, his wife’s parents, few family friends and his colleagues.

After the program was done with the lunch, my dad enjoyed very much with his eldest granddaughter, who is 2year old. Since the youngest niece is too young to play and cannot talk properly, everyone of our family likes the eldest one who is so active and smart. We all really love to be with her and play with her. Despite of her age, she shares her love with everyone, especially with my dad. My dad loves her so much, he is 65 and she is 2. Each and every scene happens between them looks really so lovely and makes me feel like “Aaha..this is called love”. The relation between a grandfather and her granddaughter, how sweet it is! It will be a feast for both eyes and heart of the people who watch those scenes. Whenever I see both of them, I recollect the scenes from the movie- Monsters Inc.

When we were there at my brother’s house, few scenes really touched me. One of the touching scenes was, my dad was relaxing on a bed and watching TV, and this 2year one stood on him and was tickling his ribs with her little and cute fingers to make him laugh and create small fun, and to satisfy her, my dad was pretending like laughing, and in turn she was laughing at him as if her mission has been accomplished. I too played with her and had great pleasure. Though I don’t know much about playing with kids, I tried my level best to make her laugh and play with her. She is really sweet so everyone was enjoying with her and we were all feeling proud to see her naughtiness. Another cute thing which I found very dramatic was, she calling my dad with his name adding garu to it, as if she is of the equal age of my dad or as a colleague of him. But when the time reached to go away leaving her, my dad really didn’t feel like leaving her. Since I am living far away from them and my visits are very limited like once in a month, my affection with her has not been developed very much and I did not feel that "missing effect". But when she understood that we were going to leave, she climbed on her grandfather and not at all getting down. But anyhow we have to leave from there to reach our home early. So my brother did something and took her inside the house so that we can leave and somehow we could manage to escape from her (love). After reaching home my dad was not at all happy and he kept his face as if he doesn’t know the meaning of the word-- smile.

Then at some moment, from deep inside the heart, a question raised and made me think about life. My dad’s age is 65 and her age is 2. I don’t think she would remember her grandfather’s love after few years. I am sure that none of us could remember the things happened at the age of 2. We just believe what our parents and relatives say about our infant life.

Sometimes I think how it would be, if love has some color with little bit variations in the shades. Just like for pollution, we see black smoke coming out of the vehicle silencers and factory chimneys. How it would be, if it has some special fragrances. Whenever two persons love each other that smoke should come and spread out without creating any disturbance to others. So that we can collect that in cylinders and spray them like fire extinguishes. Wherever there is any fight between two persons or two groups I wish we could spray on them to make peace and keep the situation under control.

I guess I’m thinking too much and writing things which are not possible. But that’s okie; I take pleasure in this form. :)

Hi Sam!As Usual, the feel and expression was very well wrought in the write-up.Undoubtedly, u can make a sensible writer.
An observation: Language needs a little polish.

Sam, I don't have any words to say... you've made me speechless... If I say it's awesome, or too good, it'll be much less of what I really mean... But, really great Sam, I love the way you think... :)

Very good Sam. I was able to visualize what you said and felt very nice about it.

I usually do not like reading long posts but this one was good.

The conclusion is exteremely artistic and I definitely see novelty in there.

I dont care about the 100% perfection of language as that would not make any difference to the cloud.

Create a visual (series) with this concept.

very good post Sam!
